
After completing his undergraduate work at The University of Tennessee, Dr. Crawford
earned an M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saint Louis University in Saint
Louis, Missouri. He completed an internship in Clinical Psychology from the Emory
University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Following completion of his internship,
he served as a staff therapist and later as the Clinical Director of both an adult
and adolescent inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment center at West
Paces Ferry Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Crawford’s current outpatient practice
includes work with individuals, couples, and families, and he maintains an interest
in performing neuropsychological evaluations.
In addition to his outpatient practice,
Dr. Crawford is a consulting psychologist to the Westminster Schools and to Pace
Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also the team psychologist for the Atlanta Hawks
Basketball team. He is regularly requested as a speaker to churches, parent groups,
professional groups, organizations, and schools. He is the author of
